When you use the clause analysis tool, you paste text into the tool interface. This text is sent to the Anthropic API using the API key you provide. We do not store the clause text you submit, and we do not retain your API key. Your API key is used in your browser session only and is never transmitted to our servers.
Automatically collected information
Like most websites, we may collect standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and time of access. This data is used for security monitoring and aggregate analytics only. We do not use it to identify individual users.

How We Use Your Information

Third-Party Services
The clause analysis feature uses the Anthropic API. When you run an analysis, the clause text is sent directly from your browser to Anthropic's servers using your API key. This transmission is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it before use.
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel's infrastructure processes web requests in accordance with their Privacy Policy.
Your Rights Under UK GDPR
You have the right to access any personal data we hold about you, request correction or erasure, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). Because we retain minimal personal data, most of these rights have limited practical application in the context of this tool.

Data Retention
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes and then deleted. We do not retain clause text or API keys beyond the browser session.
